Course Description

The Art of Parish Ministry

“And he gave some as apostles, others as prophets, others as evangelists, others as pastors and teachers, to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” – Ephesians 4:11-12

EQSaints exists to equip the people of God for the work of ministry, especially within the parish. In every parish, the Holy Spirit has poured out all of the charisms needed for the parish to fulfill the Church’s mission of evangelization, to worship in spirit and in truth, and to form the hearts and minds of the faithful.

EQSaints is providing an online intensive for those seeking to become more effective parish ministers of the gospel through the art of storytelling, the crafting of events, and music. Led by experienced and well-respected ministers Steve Angrisano, Robert Feduccia, and Sarah Hart, this multi-day session is designed for those in parish settings to become more effective lay ecclesial ministers.

The first session of each day will consist of an opening plenary presentation from two of the master instructors, addressing a vision of worship that lies beyond the pandemic.

In the second session, participants will divide into smaller groups of 10 according to area of interest:

Crafting Effective
Witness Talks

Spirituality for
Parish Ministry

Music in
Worship and Catechesis

All areas of interest will have sessions with each of the three master instructors, and will include an individual project designed to cement the tools and skills acquired over the course of the week.

As this is a working masterclass, participants should come prepared with actual parish situations that are in need of attention and design.

All Participants Will Receive

  • Opening plenary and keynote sessions (approx. 1 hr. each)
  • Intensive small-group work with Master Instructors (limit 10/group)
